A candidate is offered an interview, subject to the written application and Curriculum Vitae. The interviews take place at Terapia’s premises. All interviews are conducted on an individual basis with two members of a panel present. Prior to the interview a candidate receives a letter explaining the time and pla

All candidates are required to provide names of two referees. A Reference Form is sent to both referees after the interview.

During the interview, candidate’s psychological readiness and cognitive abilities are taken into account. There is no minimum age but a candidate’s maturity will be taken into consideration.

A place is offered to a candidate subject to:

  • Written Application
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Successful interview
  • Satisfactory references

Terapia invites students from all minority groups. Disability is cared for wherever possible. Candidates with a disability are invited to contact Terapia to discuss their individual needs.

All students need to disclose any previous convictions in accordance with the Child Protection Act. Failure to do so will result in termination of the training and no moneys will be refunded. Students will be submitted to complete the enhanced police check before undertaking Mother and Baby Observation or any clinical work with clients.
