MA in Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and Counselling

Overview

This course prepares you for UKCP Registration as Child Psychotherapist.

It deepens and broadens your knowledge of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy from the integrative vantage point. It facilitates your personal growth and professional development as a clinician.

The course, with its modules in mother and baby observation, assessment methods, and elements of systemic family therapy is demanding and as well as enlightening. It further engages you with the psychotherapy profession via your psychiatric observation and clinical work.

The MA course offers an academic training in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy with some clinical training. It is a part-time course and the candidates are expected to devote a considerable time for private studies and for the Mother and Baby, and the Toddler Observation. It is a day-time course, one day a week from 10 am till 3.30 pm.
