Just when I have experienced a superb seminar of quality, thinking it cannot be beat, along comes another professional and blows me away again. It is an extremely challenging course and could drive you nuts, but then if you are not up for that, then you don’t really want to become a psychotherapist.

Training at Terapia was exciting, challenging, very moving and basically brilliant. A rigorous and robust integrative training that has stood me in great stead as I begin working psychotherapeutically with children and adolescents.

The only course that was willing to accommodate my religious and cultural needs.

One of the things I have enjoyed immensely so far is training alongside people who come from varied backgrounds in terms of culture, work and life experience. The course appears transparent, down to earth and friendly - I would recommend it to anyone wanting to train further in working with children and young people.

On an intuitive level this course at Terapia felt like the one for me and I do indeed feel at home here. The input of many creative, passionate and heart-centred tutors crosses our path in the four years, many at the forefront of their field, and whether for a weekend, a residential course, or whole year, both my learning experience and my sense of humanity has been enhanced by these delightful people. The effect of this can not be underestimated and will stay with me and be passed on in what I bring to my work with children...

One of the many things I value and appreciate about working at Terapia is the wide variety of students that attend the courses. It is exciting and invigorating to tutor such diversity and witness the growth and integration that develops in groups and in each individual.

The First year has been an intriguing voyage through therapeutic theories and personal discovery. Rejuvenating and invigorating, the course has made me look at myself and the world I inhabit in a whole new way!

Being a student of Terapia has given me an opportunity to explore the inner workings of the human psyche; it is an often difficult and sometimes painful journey, but necessary for the work ahead with children - I've met my child and she's not as bad as I thought!

I came to Terapia not really knowing what to expect. I have been hugely impressed by the college’s dedication to both professional development and space for personal and group development. I feel privileged to be a part of the college.

My experience at Terapia has surpassed my expectations. Not only have I learned about psychotherapy but it has also been rewarding to get in touch with my own deepest feelings. I am extremely happy that I chose this course.
Andrea Loaiza-Palacio Student on Certificate in Adult Counselling
Studying at Terapia has been one of the best decisions I've made. I've met a wonderful group of people on my year; the course is immensely enjoyable, often very challenging, and always thought-provoking. The knowledge I am gaining about myself, and the skills I am learning, will no doubt prove to be life-changing. A fantastic course. My only disappointment is that the year is flying by too quickly!

Since teaching at Terapia, I have never ceased to be amazed by the strengths, resilience and resourcefulness of the students I have met there. It has been a real privilege to accompany them and to watch their beautiful growth. And it has been an exceptional source of personal and professional learning and development.

When I began my training as an integrative child and adolescent psychotherapist at Terapia I could never have imagined the deep and profound learning I would experience during my 5 years here. It’s been amazing!

Training with Terapia has been an incredible journey, not only of professional development but also in terms of personal growth.

The conversion course provides an excellent training tailored to experienced therapists' needs, importantly taking into consideration accredited prior learning. Small group sizes really aid learning depth of thinking around child development, and joining with other students on the experiential weekends brings a richness and diversity to developing practice skills.
Alex N. Graduate
I find the course challenging and very enjoyable. The course tutors allow personal growth in warm and supportive environment. The course hits the spots that most other therapy trainings miss.
Martin B. Conversion Course Student
Since starting the M.A. course with Terapia, I have always experienced support from our director and have found her advice very helpful. I have also learnt a great deal from the diverse knowledge and shared experiences with both my Terapia tutors and my colleagues on the course. Thank you!
Amina T. Third Year Student
Almost certainly, Terapia provided me with the grounding to psychotherapy that was very much missing from my approach. This being facilitated in an educational and professional setting, with advice and unprecedented support available, reinforced my decision that this was the best training and approach available.
